The multiplayer map Break Pointe is a large vehicle focused map set in the sunny southern California pacific coast. While the shape of the map as a whole was primarily designed for vehicle flow the five main points of interest were designed to support infantry as well as vehicle combat. For Break Pointe the five points of interest include Big Eddie's beach restaurant, a park, an apartment complex, a transformer substation, and a house.
- Developed initial map concept creating a design document
- Blocked out the initial design in EA's proprietary game engine Frostbite
- Iterated on map design based on feedback and testing, taking the map from block to a polished shippable level
- Implemented all scripting for game modes including spawn points and objectives
- Maintained all scripting through the maps development process
- Scripted the Chompy Easter Egg found in MP Break Pointe and Everglades
