The Disposal beta missions consist of three optional side missions Supply Depot, Archaeology, and Disposal Services that utilize the same level layout but with a different set of encounters and flow through the level. Fictionally each side mission has its own story and takes place in a different location with Archaeology being a Co-Op mission. The beta missions posed a unique technical challenge to setup as I needed to setup scripting to load only the specific assets and scripting for the desired level. One of the really compelling aspects of the Co-Op missions is that both players see different assets and is some cases different encounters.
- Developed initial level concept and layout, blocked out the initial design with modular pieces taking the maps to a shippable level
- Setup all scripting, mission objectives, and pickups
- Setup and maintained streaming and culling for performance
- Setup enemy encounters
