Dead Space 3 - Chapter 19: Endings

The last chapter of the game sees the player running through a broken section of the alien city while its being ripped apart by the necro moon. While this section was short it was designed to build tension leading into the final boss fight. Conceptually we wanted this space to backtrack through the look sets the player has visited on the planet so this section was broken up into four parts from the fossilized alien city to the snowy surface buildings. This proved technically challenging since there wasn't enough memory to load two texture sets, through the use of halo jumps and creative streaming solutions I managed to make the level run as we envisioned.

- Developed initial level concept and layout blocking out the initial design with modular pieces
- Setup all scripting, mission objectives, and pickups
- Setup and maintained streaming and culling for performance
- Setup enemy encounters
